PERG 2.1.2GRP
The purpose of this chapter is to provide guidance:(1) to unauthorised persons who wish to find out whether they need to be authorised and, if so, what regulated activities their permission needs to include; and(2) to authorised persons who may have questions about the scope of their existing permission.

SUP 16.1.4GRP
(1) This chapter contains requirements to report to the appropriate regulator66 on a regular basis. These requirements include reports relating to a firm's financial condition, and to its compliance with other rules and requirements which apply to the firm. Where the relevant requirements are set out in another section of the Handbook, this chapter contains cross references. A common platform firm must take reasonable steps to ensure continuity and regularity in the performance of its regulated activities. To this end the common platform firm3 must employ appropriate and proportionate systems, resources and procedures.[Note: article 13(4) of MiFID]
