    2(as defined in article 2 of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Meaning of "Policy" and "Policyholder") Order 2001 (SI 2001/2361)) as the context requires:

      1. (a) a contract of insurance, including one under which an existing liability has already accrued; or
      1. (b) any instrument evidencing such a contract.
