(as defined in article 2(1)(46A) MiFIR180) means180 any of the following which issue debt instruments

1. (a) the United Kingdom, including a government department, an agency, or a special purpose vehicle of the United Kingdom;180
1. (b) a State other than the United Kingdom, including a government department, an agency or a special purpose vehicle of the State;180
1. (c) in the case of a federal State, a member of the federation;180
1. (d) a special purpose vehicle for several States;180
1. (e) an international financial institution established by two or more States which has the purpose of mobilising funding and providing financial assistance for the benefit of those of its members that are experiencing or threatened by severe financing problems;180
1. (f) the EU;180
1. (g) the European Investment Bank;180
1. (h) the International Finance Corporation;180
1. (i) the International Monetary Fund.180
