    38(as defined in section 1I of the Act (Meaning of "the UK financial system"98)) the financial system operating in the United Kingdom including:

      1. (a) financial markets and exchanges;
      1. (b) regulated activities; and
      1. (c) other activities connected with financial markets and exchanges.
