    1. (1) (except in relation to MiFID business) (as defined in section 1159(1) of the Companies Act 2006 (Meaning of "subsidiary", etc)) (in relation to another body corporate ("H")) a body corporate of which H is a holding company.
    2. (2) (in relation to MiFID business) a subsidiary undertaking as defined in Articles 1 and 2 of Seventh Council Directive on consolidated accounts (No. 83/349/EEC), including any subsidiary of a subsidiary undertaking of an ultimate parent undertaking.
    3. (3) (for the purpose of IFPRU) has the meaning in article 4(1)(16) of the EU CRR.
