remedial direction

(in accordance with section 308(8) of the Act (Directions by the Treasury)) a direction requiring the FSA:

1. (a) to exercise its powers under section 297(2) of the Act to revoke the recognition order for a recognised body; or
1. (b) to exercise its powers under section 296 of the Act by giving such directions to the recognised body concerned as may be specified in the direction.5
