New improved Handbook website

We’ve launched a new and improved Handbook website.  

The new website aligns with our5-year strategyto support growth and be a smarter regulator. It has all the familiar features of our old site but it also has additional functionality to make it easier for users to:   

• • navigate and find the information they need   

• • understand the connections between our rules    

• • compare different versions of the Handbook to see what’s changed

In July 2025, we released the beta version of the new website. We’ve made a few changes since then in response to feedback we received:  

• • We’ve simplified some formatting to improve the readability of Handbook provisions. 

• • We’ve added the ability to download PDF versions of Handbook sourcebooks and improved the design of the PDFs. 

• • We’ve improved how users can ‘favourite’ key items and sign up to email alerts. 

• • We’ve published newvideo guidesto supplement our writtenuser guidesto provide quick and easy access to helpful information about the site.

If you have any further feedback about the new site, please let us know via thefeedback form. 

For a short period, you’ll still be able to access the old site (now available atlegacyhandbook.fca.org.uk) while we make sure the new site works as expected. We’ll remove access to the old site next month. Any links you have bookmarked or saved will be automatically redirected to the new site.
