assistance

4(in relation to a class of contract of insurance) the class of contract of insurance, specified in paragraph 18 of Part I of Schedule 1 to the Regulated Activities Order (Contracts of general insurance), providing either or both of the following benefits:

1. (a) assistance (whether in cash or in kind) for persons who get into difficulties while travelling, while away from home or while away from their permanent residence;
1. (b) assistance (whether in cash or in kind) for persons who get into difficulties otherwise than as in (a).
