233(in CTPS) means the PRA, the FCA or the Bank, and ‘regulators’ means the PRA, the FCA and the Bank. In this definition, the ‘Bank’ means the Bank of England, other than when it is acting in its capacity as the PRA. Unless the contrary intention appears, any reference in CTPS to a regulator or the regulators is a reference:

1. (a) when the relevant oversight function is exercised by the PRA, to the PRA;
2. (b) when the relevant oversight function is exercised by the FCA, to the FCA; and
3. (c) when the relevant oversight function is exercised by the Bank, to the Bank.
