CRD credit institution

      1. (1) (except in COLL and FUND) a credit institution that has its registered office (or, if it has no registered office, its head office) in the UK, excluding an institution to which the CRD does not apply under the UK provisions which implemented article 2 of the CRD (see also full CRD credit institution).230
      1. (2) (in COLL and FUND) a credit institution that:230
        1. (a) has its registered office (or, if it has no registered office, its head office) in the UK, excluding an institution to which the CRD does not apply under the UK provisions which implemented article 2 of the CRD; or230
        1. (b) has its registered office (or, if it has no registered office, its head office) in an EEA State, excluding an institution to which the CRD does not apply under article 2 of the CRD.230
