customer-dealing function

    284(in accordance with section 59(7A) of the Act (Approval for particular arrangements) in relation to the carrying on of a regulated activity by an authorised person ("A") a function that will involve the person performing it in dealing with:

      1. (a) customers of A; or
      1. (b) property of customers of A;

    in a manner substantially connected with the carrying on of the activity.
