    108

a waiver that has the result of requiring a firm to apply:

      1. (a) (in relation to the credit risk capital requirement) BIPRU 3.2.25 R (Zero risk-weighting for intra-group exposures: core UK group), which in summary allows a firm to assign a risk weight of 0% to exposures to members of its core UK group instead of complying with BIPRU 3.2.20 R (Calculation of risk-weighted exposure amounts under the standardised approach); or
      1. (b) (in relation to large exposures) BIPRU 10.8A (Intra-group exposures: core UK group), which in summary exempts all exposures between members of a core UK group from the limits described in BIPRU 10.5 (Limits on exposures).
