UKLR 16.1 Application

1This chapter applies to a company with, or applying for, a listing of:

1. (a)

   non-equity shares; and

2. (b)

   non-voting equity shares.

Paragraph (1) does not include:

1. (a)

   non-voting equity shares issued by a company that is a closed-ended investment fund unless it has a listing of equity shares in the closed-ended investment funds category;

2. (b)

   non-voting equity shares issued by an open-ended investment company;

3. (c)

   non-equity shares and non-voting equity shares issued by a company that is an investment entity but not a closed-ended investment fund or an open-ended investment company; and

4. (d)

   preference shares that are specialist securities.
