LLD Sch 4 Powers exercised

The following powers have been exercised by the FSA to make LLD

The rules in LLD 3 to LLD 5 and LLD 7 to LLD 251 are made under section 138 (General rule-making power), section 141 (Insurance business rules), section 150(2) (Actions for damages) and section 156 (General supplementary powers) and section 340 (Appointment) of the Act1.

The directions in LLD 2 are given under section 318 of the Act (Exercise of powers through Council).

The directions1 in LLD 6 and LLD 18 are1 given under section 316 of the Act (Direction by Authority).

The guidance is given under section 157(1) of the Act (Guidance).
